Library service began in Kingstree in 1917 through a grant funded by Andrew Carnegie. Our original location is now the Williamsburg County Museum located at 135 Hampton Avenue, Kingstree, SC 29556. Please visit them at some point and learn the history of our great county. You can also visit our Hemingway Branch to dive into genealogical research with our libraries largest collection of genealogical materials.
